Luïza Luz studied social communication, planetary pedagogy, and fine arts in Brasil. They are currently studying for an MA at the Art in Context Institut, Universität der Künste (UdK), Berlin, where they also teach the seminar “Planetary Embodiment”. In their work, Luz addresses topics of decay and transformation in nature and culture from intersectional and decolonial perspectives, engaging with human and more-than-human beings. They have a special interest in written and vocal words – that then become images, lectures, sound performances, installations, and collaborative ecosystems.
